Information for Toolbar Collection: Common Toolbar Set 1

This document describes the glyphs contained in the Toolbar collection called "Common Toolbar Set 1".  It also explains how to decifer a glyph type from its filename.  For each of the various bitmap types, modes and sizes described below a file suffix is given in parentheses "( )". These refer to the series of letters and numbers at the end of each glyph filename.

The following image sizes are included:

16 x 16    (16)
24 x 24    (24)
32 x 32    (32)


The following bitmap file types are included:

32 Bit Alpha Bmp (t):  32-bit bitmap containing an 8-bit alpha channel.  The edge pixels will anti-alias with the background color when used in toobars which support 8-bit alpha.

24 Bit Mask Bmp (m):  24-bit bitmap with transparent areas represented by a magenta (RGB 255, 0, 255) mask.

32 Bit Combined (c):  Combined 32-bit bitmap with transparent areas represented by a transparent magenta (RGB 255, 0, 255) mask and an 8-bit alpha channel.  32-bit bitmap aware applications will see the alpha transparency, other applications will see the magenta mask.

256 Color Gif with transparency (g):  256 color paletted gif with transparency


The following modes are included:

Normal (n):  The enabled toolbar button state

Hot (h):  The "hot" toolbar button state (when you move the cursor over the button in later Windows operating systems)

Disabled (d):  The disbled toolbar button state, indicating it is not available
